When my son started at preschool I was a mother helper and nearly 25 years later I am still there! I enjoyed my time at Clyst Valley Preschool – having the responsibility of preparing the children for school was hard work but fun and very rewarding.

Having a great team to work with helps! Spring was always my favourite term, doing planting & gardening and having the children totally ‘hands on’ in the soil and exploring how things grow.

Although officially ‘retired’ I now cover when needed and always during busy times & trips at the end of terms.

Qualifications

• Qualifications – NVQ2 – CCLD
• Safeguarding – Level 2
• Food Hygiene Certificate – Level 2
