In 2017 whilst my youngest was in attendance, preschool advertised a short term temporary position. Having been out of work as a stay at home mum for 8 years I was dubious, however it turned out that
‘popping in for more information’ was the best decision I could have made. Since then I have trained on and alongside my job and was delighted to be promoted to Deputy Manager and DSL in 2023.

Whilst everyday is different, and not without challenges, the sense of fulfillment I get from making a difference and contributing to children’s Early Years education is second to none.

  • Early Years Lead Practitioner – Level 5
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Safeguarding Level 3
  • Food Hygiene Certificate – Level 2
  • Allergy Awareness in the Early Years – Level 2
